理事長ご挨拶
Ueno Gakuen celebrated its 105th anniversary in 2009. We assure that our school motto "Jikaku - self awareness" is still as fresh as when Ueno Gakuen was founded in 1904. We are pround of our accomplished, yet unique, alumni from our educational foundation in such a cultural capital, Ueno.
As we greeted our 105th celebration, the new Ishibashi Memorial Hall is now ready to open in May 2010. This new hall promises us a prominent auditorium with the accoustic enviornment for which our old hall had a renowned reputation. My great confidence relies on that the au courant hall will become a good resource to enrich music culture for the coming future.
Ueno Gakuen will keep not only sending well established musicians but also fostering young people, with a full of hope and ambitions, who can lead their generation and professional fields with personality and sophisticated mind. We will encourage all students to enhance their possibilities which may be hidden in the beginning, and will support them to enble to meet to their goals, by providing the considerable academic enviornment.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all generous supports for Ueno Gakuen over the century and sincerely hope that you would kindly extend to any courtesies and assistance to our new Ishibashi Memorial Hall.
